Joseph P. DiFranco

Joseph DiFranco is Senior Vice President of Safety & Loss Prevention and Technical Investigator at eRisk Solutions. He is a retired 30-year veteran of the Peabody, Massachusetts Fire Department, where he served as firefighter, inspector, and investigator before retiring in 2014. A nationally board-certified fire and explosion investigator, vehicle fire investigator, and evidence collection technician, Joseph has decades of hands-on experience in fire prevention, code enforcement, and investigative work. He has held leadership positions as President of the Fire Prevention Association of Massachusetts and the Metro Fire Arson Investigators Association, and most recently as Secretary of the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, where he supported the training of local, state, and federal investigators. A Florida-certified private investigator and court-qualified expert witness, Joseph is nationally recognized for his expertise in fire, explosion, and safety risk within the insurance industry.
