Continuous driver monitoring removes the uncertainty between periodic Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) reviews and provides critical real-time information. A discussion about the importance of monitoring driver qualifications beyond the submission of a valid license.

One important source of evidence is the internal storage of a claimant’s cell phone, which can determine cell phone activity at the time of an incident. This includes data from applications, social media, games, and streaming services. The session will review the importance of identifying and preserving comprehensive cell phone evidence in and around the time of an incident, including constraints and potential recoverability.
