Michael Windstein serves as Executive Vice President of Underwriting at eMaxx, bringing more than two decades of experience in property and casualty underwriting. In this role, he oversees underwriting strategy and operations, with a focus on energy and other specialty lines of business. Prior to joining eMaxx, Michael served as Assistant Vice President and Underwriting Manager at Victor O. Schinnerer, where he led the New York branch office and managed the firm’s energy property and casualty program. Earlier in his career, he served as Underwriting Manager for HSBC’s Intermediary Solutions Energy Program, playing a key role in its launch and development. He began his career at AIG as an underwriter in the Global Energy Middle Market program, specializing in the oil and gas industry. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Wagner College.
