Scott Mackanick is Regional Vice President of Compliance and Loss Control at eRisk Solutions, where he oversees compliance audits, safety training, risk assessments, and program development to ensure members meet industry best practices. He began his career with four years of service as a U.S. Army paratrooper before spending 21 years with the Pennsylvania State Police as a patrol trooper, criminal investigator, and fire marshal, specializing in fire and explosion investigations and arson prosecutions. Following retirement in 2016, Scott continued as a Deputy Fire Marshal in western Pennsylvania and later worked as a private fire investigator. He is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator, NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, NAFI Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator, and a licensed Private Investigator in Florida and Georgia.
