Zekia Washington is Vice President; Reinsurance & Product Development managing new product development and support the execution of reinsurance placement at eMaxx. Prior to Product Development, Zekia served as Chief Underwriting Officer and Regional Captives. Before joining eMaxx, she managed the Insurance Service division at American Automobile Association National (AAA) and several strategic partnerships as well as served on various AAA National advisory boards. In addition, she has also worked in underwriting for global P&C underwriting companies and wholesale brokers within the United States. Zekia holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a licensed insurance agent. She brings to her position at eMaxx a well-established insurance background, knowledge of policy coverage, and business strategic planning.
