Hollis (Les) W. Day serves as the Corporate Safety Director and New Business Development at Mountain F. Enterprises, Inc., a leading utility tree company in California. With over 30 years in the industry, Les manages a comprehensive safety program for approximately 1,350 personnel and 300 subcontracted workers. His safety department comprises 35 dedicated professionals focused on auditing, training, investigations, and regulatory compliance. Les has an A.S. in Forestry and studied Forest Production at Humboldt State University. A certified expert in the field, Les’ accolades include being an ISA Certified Utility Arborist and TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional, among others. He chairs the Electrical Hazard section for the ANSI Z133 Committee and serves on the Utility Arborist Association Safety Committee, contributing to developing industry standards.
