Scott MacFarlane has worked for MacFarlane Energy for over 21 years and holds a degree in Pre-law and Business. Scott started working in the Heating Oil business in 2002 coding service billing. While working there he saw the potential for improvement in efficiency and accountability within both the home services and deliverable fuel side of the business.  Scott was an early adopter of wireless dispatching in 2003 and has since continued to keep the business ahead of the curve with technology. Current initiatives include utilizing artificial intelligence (A.I.) to enhance customer experience, record keeping and target areas of training and improvement.  Scott MacFarlane has been instrumental in MacFarlane Energy’s rapid growth to over 100 employees. His focus has been on business acquisitions, developing new talent in the trades and implementing continuous training and best practices within his organization. Currently, Scott serves on the Energy and Environmental Committee for the New England Council (NEC), he is a Vice Chair at the Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association (MEMA). His past works include Government Affairs Chair, and Executive Board Member of The National Energy & Fuels Institute. He is also one of the founders of their first Political Action Committee, the Greener Heating Fuels PAC, plus a past trustee of their Education Foundation and past Chairman of the American Energy Coalitions Marketing Committee.
