Joe Sweeting serves as President and CEO of eMaxx UK and brings more than 20 years of insurance and reinsurance market experience. He began his career in claims before transitioning into underwriting with Amlin Syndicate, where he spent nearly a decade. He later joined Hiscox Syndicate to launch its casualty offering as Head of Casualty Reinsurance. Mr. Sweeting subsequently moved to Vibe Syndicate, a newly formed Lloyd’s operation, and in 2019 joined AXIS to lead its Lloyd’s casualty reinsurance offering. Throughout his career, Mr. Sweeting has served on executive committees at the syndicate level and has been actively involved in risk and operational functions. He has also led strategic technology initiatives, including the implementation of underwriting systems, dashboards, and workflow platforms to support underwriting and operational performance, and is ACII qualified (Chartered Insurer).
