Jim Geels is Vice President of Littlefield Investment Company, a holding company in Fort Smith, Arkansas, which owns Littlefield Oil Co, Generations Transport, Littlefield Propane, Southland Management Group, Ft. Smith Petroleum Equipment, Inc and Littlefield Retail Group After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, he began a career in banking, where he served as Vice President of Commercial Lending. In 2010, he left banking to join the Littlefield Companies. His duties include the oversight of finance and banking relations, acquisitions, insurance, product and asset procurement, and the credit departments of the companies that fall under the Littlefield umbrella. Since his arrival at the company, he has played a key role in facilitating several acquisitions that have given the Littlefield companies a presence in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Tennessee and Missouri. He initiated Littlefield’s involvement with the Partners in Education with Cavanagh Elementary School within the Fort Smith, Arkansas School District. The goal of this project was to recognize outstanding students not only for good grades, but also for character and leadership abilities throughout the school year by presenting them with the Littlefield Leadership Award. Additionally, he organized the annual Littlefield Golf tournament which raised money for the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, The Golden Rule Clothes Closet and More, the Morgan Nick Foundation and Mercy Hospital. He is also a committee member within the Arkansas Oil Marketers Association. Jim has held several board positions with various organizations within the Fort Smith area over the years, including serving as past Presidents for the Golden Rule Clothes Closet and More, the Trinity Junior High School Board and the Christ the King Parish Council in Fort Smith Arkansas. Additionally, Jim has been deeply involved in serving the local youth community, volunteering for many years as a coach in basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer. His commitment to mentoring young athletes reflects his dedication to supporting youth and strengthening the local community.
