Jack Grimmer has over 35 years’ experience in the fields of Environment, Health, Safety, DOT Compliance, Emergency Response, Security, Operations Management and Quality Assurance. With experiences ranging from Department of Defense, Manufacturing, and Energy Sectors. He is an ambitious and optimistic business executive with proven abilities in strategic planning and managing projects, improving efficiency of operations, team building, and detailing project information to determine effective functions for manufacturing and utility operations. Jack has been focused on identifying areas of strength and weakness and implementing company policies, standards, changes in operations and systems that optimize productivity and bottom line. He has been active in the development and implementation of safety culture changes in several different industrial sectors. Jack’s ability to motivate staff to maximum productivity and control costs through the most effective uses of manpower and available resources has been important to his overall management style. He believes at the core of a strong mentor program is the candor that clarifies what the mentee is seeking to achieve, what they know they need to develop further, and what the mentor has experienced, successfully and not so successfully. He strongly believes that good mentor must have the desire to develop other people and a willingness to reflect on and share his own experiences, including failures. Jack has a BA in Physics for SUNY Plattsburgh and BS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. He has held numerous positions in several industrial organizations to include National Safety Council, American Gas Association, and National Propane Gas Association.
