Court Townsend is the current Chief Operations Officer of Townsend Energy and President of Townsend Insurance Group, a fourth-generation family-owned company based in Danvers, Massachusetts that distributes BioPure heating oil, propane, gasoline and diesel fuel and provides HVAC, electrical, plumbing and insurance services across New England. He earned his MBA from Boston University and currently serves as a Board Member of MEMA, participates in the Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business NEFI Leaders Program and holds a Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor Certificate. Over the course of his career he has combined his operational leadership at Townsend Energy with industry engagement, continuing the family’s tradition of active participation in regional and national energy initiatives.
