Caroline Matthews

Caroline joined Aspen Re in November 2020 as a Casualty Treaty Underwriter, writing US and International Casualty Treaty Reinsurance across multiple lines of business, including Workers’ Compensation, Medical Malpractice, General Liability, Auto Liability, Professional Liability and Excess Casualty. Prior to joining Aspen Re, Caroline spent time at Hiscox Re as a Specialty Treaty Underwriter and over 5 years at Acappella Syndicate 2014, initially as the Syndicate Manager and then transitioned to Casualty Underwriter, writing a US Casualty Treaty and Binding Authority Portfolio. Caroline also worked at Chaucer in the Marine Hull and Liability team following her completion of the Lloyd’s Graduate Scheme. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and is ACCI qualified.
