Carianne Torrissi, Esq.

Carianne P. Torrissi, Esq. is Vice President, Risk Management and General Counsel of Samuel Coraluzzo Co., Inc., a bulk petroleum transporter operating throughout the east coast region and Texas. Carianne obtained her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University. She served as Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Lee B. Laskin, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey. During her clerkship, Carianne also served as Coordinator for the Court’s Civil Mediation Program. Prior to joining Coraluzzo, she spent 16 years as an insurance defense litigator focusing her practice on the defense of trucking companies, as well as the defense of corporate clients in employment and labor disputes. Most recently, she was a Partner with Goldberg Segalla LLP where she was on the leadership committees for the Trucking Law practice group and the Employment and Labor Law practice group. She has previously served as a Trucking Law Committee Member, as well as a Steering Committee for the Employment and Labor Law Committee, of the Defense Research Institute (DRI). In 2019, Carianne was named one of the Top Women to Watch in Transportation and as a “Super Lawyer” in Employment & Labor Law in 2019 and 2020. Carianne also serves as an elected Member on Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC), an organization composed of recognized leaders in the legal community.
