Deborah Ryan is a Technical Investigator with eRisk Solutions, focusing on motor vehicle accident investigations and other complex incidents. She brings more than 34 years of law enforcement experience, retiring as a Major from the Massachusetts State Police (MSP) in 2022. For 10 years, she served in the MSP Accident Reconstruction Section, supervising the Northeast Team while managing her own caseload, and investigated or oversaw hundreds of serious and fatal collisions. A recognized court-qualified expert witness, Deborah has testified extensively in Massachusetts courts. In her final assignment with MSP, she served as Troop Commander at Logan International Airport, overseeing law enforcement and security operations with responsibility for more than 185 personnel, as well as Worcester and Hanscom airports. She is certified in advanced accident reconstruction, commercial vehicle collisions, pedestrian and motorcycle collisions, human kinematics, and ACM crash data analysis. Deborah holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England College.
