Timothy Charshaf was admitted to practice in all California courts, the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Central Federal District Courts of California, and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1989. Timothy’s 30-year private practice involved liability prevention, corporate compliance, operational-related legal matters, contracts, and all related litigation. He tried many jury and bench cases and successfully argued in both state and federal appellate courts. Timothy became a fulltime employee of Zmog Management Company, LLC in 2019 – an entity dedicated to providing legal and other professional services to Mountain F. Enterprises, Inc. and its related companies. MFE is a direct contractor for large utility companies located primarily in the Western United States. MFE owns and operates a substantial vehicle and equipment fleet with dedicated fleet and traffic control divisions and state of the art repair and maintenance shops at its 40+ acre main site. MFE engages several subcontractors, who also maintain vehicle and equipment fleets, in performing utility company projects. Legal work related to this sector of MFE’s business concerns contractual adherence to utility companies’ Master Services Agreements, drafting subcontractor agreements (with strict risk allocation indemnification, defend and hold harmless provisions), ensuring subcontractor’s contractual and legal compliance, and advising on legal issues relating to industry, and federal and state law requirements, including OSHA.
