Shannon Splaine joined Lincoln Gustafson & Cercos, LLP in 2004 and became a partner in 2008. Splaine received her B.S. in Political Science from the University of Dayton in 1997 and J.D. in 2000 from Duquesne University School of Law. She is a member of the Federal and State Bars of Nevada, State Bar of Arizona, and State Bar of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Splaine joined a small firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2000-2002 where she handled complex commercial litigation, employment/discrimination, personal injury, and contract dispute matters. In 2002, she moved to Nevada. Her practice in Nevada has focused on general liability, premises liability, dog bite, construction defect (commercial and residential), trucking, automobile, and product liability defense. She has defended general contractors, subcontractors, trucking companies, HOAs, tow truck companies, and manufacturers. She also assists clients with business formation, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, contract disputes, subrogation, and provides coverage opinions to insurance carriers regarding general liability and bad faith claims. Splaine served as a committee member for the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers from 2013-2019 (including serving as Vice President in her last year). She was also a member of the Clark County Civil Bench Bar Committee and the Southern Nevada Women’s Association, each for more than two years. Splaine has been a member of DRI, RIMS, and remains a member of CLM. She is also the mother of two teenage children and, in her free time, enjoys charity walks and reading.
