Robert Flaherty

Robert Flaherty currently serves as the eRisk Regional Vice President of Safety & Loss Prevention for the Mid-Atlantic region. He is responsible for risk management & loss prevention, industry specific training and environmental claims management. Robert has over 25 years of experience in risk management, environmental, health & safety and also has an extensive background in OSHA, hazardous materials/waste and DOT compliance.  He began his career in environmental field services with Veolia Environmental, having served as a Project Manager with direct health and safety responsibilities for field service personnel, as well as managing and achieving P&L goals on assigned projects. He has many years of experience performing consulting and training on OSHA regulations, DOT hazardous materials, EPA/RCRA regulations and FMCSA and PHMSA compliance. Rob is a certified OSHA Outreach Trainer and is also certified as a National Safety Council trainer. He has achieved status as a certified Responsible Care Coordinator by the American Chemistry Council under the ACC’s Responsible Care initiative and is also a certified Zenger Miller Quality Management Trainer.
