Milana is a DOT Compliance Specialist and is president of TM Total Consulting LLC, a firm that specializes in commercial transportation litigation support, training and consulting to include auditing motor carriers records for compliance with regulations and industry standards, investigating CMV crashes, inspecting commercial vehicles for safety violations, evaluating transportation companies’ hiring and safety practices, and providing safety classes for carriers and their drivers. Milana retired from the Louisiana State Police as a Sergeant with 22 years of law enforcement experience and has worked with the trucking industry for more than 20 years. For 10 years, Milana was part of the Motor Carrier Safety Unit within LSP where she supervised commissioned and civilian personnel performing compliance review investigations and roadside inspections. For 5 years, she co-authored and developed the grant provided to the Louisiana State Police by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. She holds certifications in NAS Part A, NAS Part B, General Hazardous Materials, Cargo Tank Inspection, Other Bulk Inspection, Compliance Review Investigations.
