With over 21 years of experience in the energy industry, Mike has played a central role in expanding his family’s 3rd generation heating oil and HVAC company while preserving its legacy of service excellence and trust within the community. Since joining the company, Mike has driven growth through acquisitions, technology enhancements, and operational efficiency. After recognizing the company’s need for scalable software, Mike led the transition from an outdated Unix-based system to a modern ERP platform and later introduced electronic dispatching which created greater efficiencies across all departments. With risk mitigation and claims management as top priorities, Mike recently implemented inward-facing fleet cameras to promote driver accountability and safety within his organization. To support this initiative, Mike is developing several incentive programs to create a safety-focused culture and to boost employee engagement. Over the past decade, Mike has led the acquisition of three companies and continues to expand the company’s reach in Southeastern Massachusetts. Mike holds an MBA and has a strong foundation in operations and finance. Before joining the company, he worked at New England Financial and Putnam Investments, managing defined contribution plans for companies like Briggs & Stratton. He later used his expertise to build a more competitive benefits package for Niccoli Energy. Beyond his role at Niccoli Energy, Mike serves as Board Member eCaptiv PC2 (and Chair of the Investment and Audit Committee), Board Member of The National Energy & Fuels Institute (NEFI), Board Member of Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association (MEMA), and he consults with several local non-profit organizations within his community.
