Michael Schorr is the Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs for Universal Environmental Services (UES). UES is the largest used oil collector in the southeast, serving over 11,000 customers. UES operates 50 locations collecting over 75 million gallons of used oil per year across 24 states. The collected used oil is refined into API Group II+ and Group III base oil at the UES facility in Peachtree City, Georgia. The refined base oil is then marketed for use in the manufacturing of virgin lubricant products. Michael has a diverse background in environmental services and regulatory affairs, with experience in both managerial and directorial roles over a 25-year career.
