Lindsey Lewis is principal at the law firm of Franklin & Prokopik. She focuses her practice on the defense of matters in Central and Southeastern Virginia, including the Richmond Metropolitan and Hampton Roads areas, and concentrates in liability, specifically in the construction, restaurant & food service, retail, and transportation industries. She was previously associated with the firm’s Herndon, Virginia office before relocating to Richmond, Virginia. She brings to F&P extensive experience in civil litigation, in the areas of automobile and transportation liability, employment, premises liability, and professional liability, including defense of medical malpractice and nursing home claims. Lindsey received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 2003. She continued her education at the University of Virginia and received her Juris Doctor in 2006. Prior to joining Franklin & Prokopik, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael P. McWeeny, Chief Judge of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. She also worked for a defense firm in the District of Columbia. Lindsey is currently a member of the Virginia Bar Association and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Professional Liability Section of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. She is admitted to practice before all state courts in the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia.
