Doug Trout

Doug Trout oversees the Fresno, CA division of MMT Insurance Services, A Gallagher Company. Gallagher’s Fresno team specializes in insurance and risk management programs for the refuse, recycling and energy industries.  With over 26 years of experience in the insurance industry, Doug’s team is well positioned to assist clients with complex insurance needs. Doug along with his partners, Mike Manit and Rick McConnell, began their careers with an intensive year-long commercial insurance training program with one of the nation’s premier direct writers.  Following his time with the direct writer insurance company, Doug joined Mike Manit and Rick McConnell to start McConnell, Manit and Trout Insurance Services, with the focus of offering specialized insurance and risk management programs tailored to specific industry segments.  Providing a level of service and creative programming beyond what is commonly found in the traditional insurance marketplace, MMT rapidly grew their niche.    MMT is excited to partner with Arthur J. Gallagher, the world’s 3rd largest broker and an early adopter of creative risk solutions that continues to challenge the traditional insurance marketplace for the benefit of clients.  MMT made this final decision with great caution and consideration to assure complete cultural alignment and ultimate commitment to serving clients.  Doug graduated from Cal State University Fresno with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration Finance.
