Dale R. Hightower started the law firm of Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor in 1992 without any clients, and relying only upon a small bank loan. His faith that “if you build it, they will come” became a reality. This statewide Florida firm celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022 and is now what US. News and World Report describes as “one of the best corporate defense firms in Florida.” In his 30 years as a litigator, it is estimated he has been involved in around 185 jury trials with an 80% success rate (verdict under offered amount). Dale is recognized as an expert litigator and has been invited to teach and speak at legal seminars on various topics ranging from discovery techniques to “door shutting” closing arguments. He has been named The Best Lawyers in America®, “Top Lawyer” by the Florida Legal Guide, Florida’s Super Lawyers®, Litigation Council of America – Senior Fellow, and has maintained an AV Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell® since 1993. Dale is the Founding Partner of Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor and has cultivated relationships with legal professionals throughout the state. In his youth, he was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts, Senior Class President at Lakeland High School, and Student Body President at Florida Southern College. Dale is a recognized leader in the South Florida legal community. He was elected to the Young Lawyers Board of Directors and also served as the Bar’s Public Relations Director. At one time, he hosted a legal television show entitled “In the Public Interest”. Dale also exercises his writing skills by drafting short stories. One of his short stories entitled “RoboLawyer” was published in the Florida Bar Journal.
