Daniel Massalone

Daniel Joseph Massalone is the President of the Pinch Group of Companies. Dan attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas from 1972 to 1976, where he graduated with a BA in Business Administration and was a member of the student government and the baseball team. Dan began his professional career with Statistical Tabulating Company in St. Louis, Missouri in January of 1977. He then quickly transferred to the Dallas office and remained with the company until 1982. In 1982, Dan joined the Pinch Group of Companies, in Houston, Texas as the Vice President of Recruiting. As he progressed in his career, Dan contributed daily to the Sales, Operations and Safety Teams and became in integral part of the organization. Then, in 2001, Dan became an equity position holder within the Pinch Group of Companies. In 2008 the company had grown to $50 million in annual revenue and three of the four divisions were sold to Forward Air Inc. where he would remain for the next five years. In 2013, Dan was brought back to the Pinch Group of Companies as a partner of the Pinch Intermodal LLC division. In 2016, Dan became the president of all the Pinch Group of Companies, which consists of Pinch Flatbed Inc, Pinch Intermodal LLC and PGC Logistics LLC. Dan is now a 41-year veteran of the industry.
